Delete your account

In the app: open Account and tap Delete account. It takes effect at once. If you own a borough, hand it to another member first; the app will tell you if that is needed.

By email: write to privacy@rwcbm.com from the email address on your account with the subject line “Delete my RWCBM account.” We confirm the request, verify it’s really you, and process the deletion within 30 days.

If you no longer have access to that email address, sign in to rwcbm.com from the account you want deleted and email us from the linked inbox, or update the email on your profile first, then send the request from the new one.

Before you delete: deleting your account does not cancel a paid membership or borough dues. Cancel those from the Billing page first.

• Your profile (name, username, photo, bio, location, contact details, social links) and your sign-in.
• Your business listings (logo, description, photos, contact details, give-back deals you authored).
• Your requests, your responses to other men’s requests, and your applications.
• Your borough wall posts and comments, and your forum threads and replies.
• Messages from before August 2026, when messages were not yet encrypted, that you sent or received.
• Your borough memberships, event RSVPs, deals and deal redemptions.
• Your notification history, support requests and reports.

• Photos and files you uploaded stop appearing anywhere on RWCBM, but copies stay in our file storage until we clear them by hand. Email privacy@rwcbm.com if you want that done.
• Encrypted messages you sent in the app live on the phones of the men you sent them to, the same as a text message. We never held a readable copy. Your app’s public encryption keys, and any locked messages still waiting to reach your phone, stay on our server until we clear them; no one can read them.
• Payment records are kept by Stripe for as long as the law requires.
• Database backups and server logs expire on their own within 30 days. After that, no copy of what was deleted remains in them.

You don’t need to delete the whole account to scrub specific items. From the app or website you can:

• Delete your own posts, requests, and opportunities from each item’s detail screen.
• Delete a business listing from the business edit page.
• Remove a give-back deal by emailing privacy@rwcbm.com; we’ll archive it within 24 hours.
• Toggle off “Share my personal email” and “Share my personal phone” on your profile to hide those fields without deleting them.
• Clear your bio, social links, or photo by editing your profile and saving the empty values.
