Delete your account

Email privacy@rwcbm.com from the email address on your account with the subject line “Delete my RWCBM account.” We confirm the request, verify it’s really you, and process the deletion within 30 days.

If you no longer have access to that email address, sign in to rwcbm.com from the account you want deleted and email us from the linked inbox - or update the email on your profile first, then send the request from the new one.

• Your profile (name, username, photo, bio, location, contact details, social links).
• Your business listings (logo, description, photos, contact details, give-back deals you authored).
• Your direct messages and group DMs.
• Your applications to opportunities and your responses to requests.
• Your borough memberships and event RSVPs.
• Your media library uploads (audio, video, image).
• Your notification history.

• Posts in borough feeds may remain attributed to “A former member” so other members’ comment threads stay intact. Your name and photo are removed.
• Give-back deal redemptions aggregate into the network’s “given back to the community” totals. Individual redemption records keep an anonymized user reference; your name is removed.
• Server logs with your past IP and request metadata roll off on a 90-day schedule for fraud prevention and incident response.
• Database backups roll off on a 30-day schedule. After that window, no copy of your data remains.

You don’t need to delete the whole account to scrub specific items. From the app or website you can:

• Delete your own posts, requests, and opportunities from each item’s detail screen.
• Delete a business listing from the business edit page.
• Remove a give-back deal by emailing privacy@rwcbm.com; we’ll archive it within 24 hours.
• Toggle off “Share my personal email” and “Share my personal phone” on your profile to hide those fields without deleting them.
• Clear your bio, social links, or photo by editing your profile and saving the empty values.
